About the Bread

What makes sourdough bread different?

Sourdough is a natural fermentation process that requires time, care, and patience. This method develops deeper flavors, a better texture, and a different experience from bread made with rapid commercial fermentation.

How should I store my bread at home?

We recommend keeping your bread refrigerated, inside the same packaging in which it was delivered. After slicing your daily portion, protect it from condensation and remove any water droplets that may form inside the bag after taking it out of the refrigerator. There is no need to freeze it: in a clean refrigerator, it can remain in excellent condition for several weeks while its flavors continue to develop over time.

How should I warm my bread before serving?

To restore its aroma, texture, and crust, we recommend heating it for a few minutes in a skillet, on a griddle, or in a small countertop oven. Avoid using a microwave, as it may damage the crust and alter the bread’s natural texture.

What kind of products can I find at Pani Nostri?

We specialize in naturally fermented sourdough. Our catalog also includes laminated pastries, artisan baked goods, cakes, jams, cookies, and other creations inspired by the culture of bread. You will also find digital resources and publications for those who wish to continue exploring this craft beyond the table.
